We are all Kings!

In 2008 Dean Lombardi invited all season ticket members to the Toyota Center in El Segundo for a chalk talk session. Dean asked for our support in his master plan to bring the Kings organization to prominence. The goal being Stanley Cup champions. Dean executed the plan masterfully and with a little luck the Kings are two time champions. I now understand what Dean meant by the statement "We are all part of the Kings family." The private Championship Rally confirms the commitment of the Kings organization to the season ticket members, fans, and city of Los Angeles. Thank you on a job well done. GKG!!!

Obstructed view

So the arena was clearly not built with hockey in mind. I bought tickets in the upper bowl directly behind the goal... problem is the NHL Ice is much longer than an NBA court, so the design of the bowl completely blocked everything from the boards to the top of the circles. When I bought tickets there was no mention of an obstructed view at all, and I even paid a worthless extra 10 bucks for a “premium” upper bowl ticket. Moral of the story, sit perpendicular to the ice in the upper bowl, or only see 75% of the game. Really disappointing.
